Boreal Forest Wild Flower Honey

Local Apiary in Wahnapitae

Raw Wildflower Honey (Liquid)

Raw wildflower honey, produced in Northern Ontario where the bees forage in the bush among wild plants and wildflowers. That’s what gives this honey its naturally rich, wildflower flavour.

It’s kept raw and unpasteurized, and handled gently so it stays just the way the bees made it. Since honey is seasonal, the colour and flavour can shift a little from year to year depending on what’s blooming.

When the season’s harvest sells out, this honey is supplemented with honey from other trusted local producers, chosen specifically for similar flavour profiles and the same quality standards.

Available in 250g and 500g jars.

Raw Wildflower Honey (Creamed)

Creamed honey is made for spreading. It starts as raw wildflower honey, then is carefully encouraged to crystallize into a smooth, creamy texture.

It’s raw and unpasteurized, with that same wildflower taste that comes from Northern Ontario.

Made in small batches and seasonal.

When the local harvest runs out, it’s supplemented with honey from trusted local producers that match the same flavour profile.

Available sizes vary: 150g to 450g

Raw Wildflower Honey (Naturally Crystallized)

Naturally crystallized honey is simply raw honey that has firmed up over time. This is completely natural and often happens when honey hasn’t been overheated or heavily processed.

It’s still raw and unpasteurized with that same wildflower flavour.
